First Animation

Programs: Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Animate

This was the first time I had ever 2D animated and decided to have a character with wings fly across a scene. The most challenging part was figuring out a way to create fluid motion for the character since I had never done so before. The beginning motions were all hand drawn but for the parts where quick flight moved across the scene, I had learned to use keyframes to create the illusion of fast movement.

Being unfamiliar with Animate I used Clip Studio Paint to assist with the images before I learned of an easier method to animate in Clip Studio Paint alone. It was still interesting using the features of Animate to get the movement slides to go smoothly. Overall for a first try, it came out better than I expected.
